FROM FRANCE
One can really marvel in front of such an object, especially considering that it was found in an attic of Fallo during the remodeling of a house. The person, who found it, maintains that it comes from France, and this is confirmed by the trademark stamp of the company that made it (barely visible under the cover). Many of our townspeople often went to Paris to work, and this is a further proof of the hypothesis of its origin. But what is it? It is a very old w.c.. It is known that in Fallo before the arrival of the running water the hygienic conditions left much to be desired. The chamber pot was commonly used and so was the custom of emptying it in the streets. The article shown in the picture did not solve the practical problems (once full, the lower container had to be emptied), but, if for nothing else, provided the solution to the problems of convenience and aesthetics.
